Overview
We have a cornerstone and highly visible opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Director; in this role you will oversee HR operations for Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a 394-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital.
Responsibilities
- As a strategic leader, align business objectives with employees and management, and serve as an evidence-based consultant to executive leadership related to organizational goals and strategy on human resource issues, including employee health, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, organizational development, workforce planning, ADA interactive process, and compensation.
- Direct the HR team and formulate partnerships across the HR team and Centers of Expertise (CoE) to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of CommonSpirit Health.
- Act as a development coach to operations leaders and oversee employee engagement and workforce culture strategies that contribute to Northridge Hospital being a great place to work.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 7 years HR or leadership experience, OR minimum of 10 years HR or leadership experience in the discipline, OR Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
- HR experience should encompass generalist experience or at least 2 or more areas of specialty, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc.
- Demonstrated employee relations experience with a working knowledge of recruitment, training delivery, benefits and compensation theory/administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

Pay Range
$62.97 - $93.67 /hour
