Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia, a global leader transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Test Engineer to support our client's Automotive Vehicles team. This is a W-2 full-time contract based in Santa Clara, CA with remote and hybrid work options. The role offers competitive pay ($70/hr - $80/hr) based on experience, education, location, etc., and provides full benefits, PTO, and company culture. The Automotive Vehicles team is seeking a creative Test Engineer to help bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle solution to the world. You will scale and expand testing frameworks to productize solutions in transportation and self-driving cars, collaborating with multi-functional engineering teams across vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our AV software platform, while meeting NVIDIA and automotive standards and guidelines. What you will be doing
Create test strategies and test plans for new features and develop robust simulation tests. Identify gaps in tools and request new features to improve tool quality and user experience. Triages, prioritizes, and proposes resolutions to problems in simulated or on-road testing environments. Identify test coverage gaps, expand coverage, and maintain tests. Root-cause analysis of failures in builds and collaborate with engineering to implement protections. Provide concrete insights from analysis to improve the quality of new features. Create and maintain dashboards to communicate software performance. Collaborate with engineering, data science, and release teams to monitor and enforce robust criteria for measuring and gating releases. Represent test tooling and infrastructure needs to prioritize and test early deliveries of new tools. What we need to see
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in system test, automation, and root-cause analysis in fields comparable in complexity to autonomous driving. Substantial experience with Python/C++ and SQL in a software-driven environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive alignment across large organizations.
