Overview
Associate Manager, Communications at Core Spaces. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented candidate to join our Marketing & Communications team to support the Director of Communications in executing Core Spaces’ communications and public relations initiatives across our Student Housing and Build-to-Rent communities, while providing creative brand copywriting support for marketing campaigns, materials, and social media content. What You Will Do
Public Relations & Communications: support public relations efforts, including drafting press releases, award submissions, media materials and conducting media outreach. Monitor media coverage for Core Spaces and its communities, identifying opportunities for engagement. Draft and distribute internal company communications reflecting Core Spaces’ culture and values. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communications strategies that elevate brand awareness and engagement. Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels, in alignment with established guidelines. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging communication tools to drive innovation in messaging and media outreach. Support resident communications and reputation management by drafting email communications and creating templated review responses. Copywriting & Content Creation: write and edit copy for email newsletters, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns; develop and refine website content; write and edit copy for paid digital and social media campaigns; proofread all materials to ensure brand consistency. Other: occasional travel as needed; perform other duties as assigned; complete all physical requirements of this role with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in public relations and/or communications. Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience with brand guidelines and maintaining brand voice across multiple channels. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Nice-to-Have
Experience in real estate, property management, or hospitality industries. Experience with Meltwater or similar media intelligence tools. Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights to stakeholders. Collaborative, resourceful, creative, flexible, and enthusiastic about joining our team as we invent the future of living. Base salary range: USD $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Discretionary bonuses (typically 10-15% of base salary) based on individual and organizational performance. Comprehensive benefits including health plans, retirement options, paid time off, and other role-based offerings, subject to eligibility. Paid flexible PTO, holidays, parental leave, volunteer time off, and wellness perks. Hybrid or remote work options may vary by role to support work-life balance.
