THE OPPORTUNITY: Our client, a leading entertainment and digital media organization with a global presence across film, television, and interactive content, is seeking an accomplished VP of Corporate FP&A to join its executive finance team. The VP of Corporate FP&A will lead the organization’s financial planning and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment of business performance with long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in indie film finance, along with strong understanding of content lifecycle economics, including production, distribution, and monetization. This role reports into the CFO and works directly with senior leadership on strategic planning, capital allocation, and performance optimization across multiple business units in a fast-evolving entertainment landscape. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead all aspects of corporate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across global business units. Develop consolidated forecasts, variance analyses, and executive reporting packages to support strategic decision-making. Partner with divisional and production finance teams to align P&L management, content investment, and cash flow forecasting. Provide strategic and analytical support for content greenlighting, deal evaluation, and ROI analysis across film, television, and digital initiatives. Serve as a key finance business partner to the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives, influencing decisions through data-driven insights. Manage the annual operating plan process and long-range strategic planning, ensuring coordination with corporate accounting and FP&A teams. Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate performance scenarios, capital expenditures, and investment opportunities. Implement systems and process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency across the enterprise. Present financial results and strategic insights to executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders as needed. Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team capable of scaling with the company’s continued growth. REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in FP&A within film, television, or entertainment industries. Deep understanding of content production economics, distribution models, and P&L management for entertainment assets. Experience with indie films required. Experience supporting corporate strategy, M&A integration, or investment evaluation is highly advantageous. Proven ability to communicate financial insights effectively to executive and creative stakeholders. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent leadership and people management capabilities, with a history of developing and scaling FP&A teams. Exposure to gaming or interactive entertainment finance is a plus but not required.
