Job Title: Planner SchedulerJob Description

This role involves developing work orders and preventive maintenance plans for implementation. The position requires collaboration with station personnel to identify, create, and order parts for repair and replacement activities. Responsibilities include planning work packages for various tasks such as Design Change, Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Work Packages. The work scope encompasses Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

Identify and analyze work order tasks required to implement large capital projects, preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.

Develop work standards to support work packages.

Provide guidance to junior system planners or contractors in developing detailed elements of overall packages.

Create work packages for all disciplines, including proficiency in generating weld data sheets in accordance with relevant codes and procedural requirements.

Essential Skills

Nuclear power experience.

Utility planning.

Construction scheduling.

Maintenance scheduling.

10+ years of nuclear scheduling experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Graduate / GED.

Experience: 7+ years.

Nuclear Experience: 7+ years.

Experience using NAMS software.

Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Trade School Graduate (preferred).

Experience: 10+ years (preferred).

Nuclear Experience: 10+ years (preferred).

Work Environment

The work environment involves using advanced planning and scheduling software such as NAMS. This role requires adherence to safety standards and procedural requirements, with a focus on collaboration and coordination with various disciplines. The position may involve working in both office settings and field environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Palo, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
