DevOps Testing Engineer (.NET/Azure) Minneapolis, MN 3 months with potential extension We are seeking a DevOps QA Tester to join our DevOps team on a short-term contract. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery in a Microsoft .NET and Azure environment. The ideal candidate has experience testing in CI/CD pipelines, validating automation processes, and collaborating across development and DevOps teams. Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases in CI/CD pipelines. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing in cloud and hybrid environments. Monitor and validate deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth builds, deployments, and rollbacks. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed testing into CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Partner with developers and business teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle. Participate in root cause analysis for production deployment failures. Strong experience with manual and automated software testing. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar). Knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments and services. Experience with API testing tools. Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles. Ability to query relational databases (SQL basics) for test data validation. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
