Akkodis is seeking a
Contractor Connect Application Specialist
for a
Contract
with a client in Chicago, IL (Remote). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Simplify VMS or similar systems to support integration and compliance efforts. Rate Range:
$41/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Contractor Connect Application Specialist responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Contractor Connect (Simplify VMS) application, supporting functionality, processes, and integration efforts.
Implement and integrate business and technical processes for the Assured Partners project, ensuring system efficiency and compliance.
Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope, strategy, and deliverables, and ensure smooth execution.
Support system enhancements and application configuration, working with third-party vendors to implement SaaS solutions.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, including evaluating SOC reports and enforcing user management standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years working with Simplify VMS, SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar Vendor Management Systems.
Hands-on experience with application configuration, design, and integration of SaaS solutions.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle, project management methodologies, and compliance processes including SOC report evaluation.
