Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Edmond, OK!

Bring comfort, companionship, and a listening ear to patients and families during one of life's most important journeys. As a Patient Direct Volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by visiting patients in their homes or facilities, offering support through presence, conversation, reading, music, or simply sitting quietly with them. What You'll Do: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients Read, share stories, or listen to music together Offer a comforting presence to patients and their families Assist with light activities as appropriate (non-medical) What We're Looking For: Compassionate, dependable individuals with a heart for service Good communication and listening skills Respectful of confidentiality and diverse backgrounds Must be 18 years or older Must complete volunteer training and background screening Time Commitment: Flexible with your schedule and availability - We'll work with your schedule Why Volunteer with Us?
