Software Engineer – Seattle, Washington, United States Apple – Software and Services Summary: Apple is recruiting for a Software Engineer to contribute to Siri Runtime Platform and the next generation of natural interaction platforms across Apple devices. The role focuses on building features to enhance Siri capabilities, working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities, and delivering high-quality software with strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
Develop, launch, maintain, and extend products related to Siri’s Runtime Platform and natural interaction capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve dependencies; triage issues from live populations, analyze logs, reproduce bugs, and set priority for problem resolution. Contribute to architecture and design, drive software development with velocity, and provide substantial individual technical contributions. Promote standard methodologies and best practices within the team. Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Strong expertise in Swift or Objective-C programming language. 2-3 years of experience in software development, including code contributions, code reviews, design reviews, and maintaining production systems. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals with expertise in concurrency, distributed systems, and API design. Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in design patterns. Experience shipping platform/products to production and supporting/extended them post-launch. Experience driving technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple products. Pay & Benefits
Base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $210,100, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple offers comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, product discounts, and educational expense reimbursement. Eligible for discretionary bonuses or relocation support; additional details are provided during consideration.
