The Security Engineer works closely with business and IT to determine business process and productivity needs and develop the necessary technology strategy to support the business goals. The Security Engineer will protect and support technical needs, requirements, and the state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations. Work with technical management to optimize networks that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters. Experience

0–1 year experience required. 2–4 years' experience preferred. Education

High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work Experience required. Associate’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Licenses and Certifications

NIST, SIEM, HIPPA, Security+, Firewall experience desired. CCVP, CCIE, CCNP, professional certs desired. CCNA desired. Special Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT Infrastructure, Security, Firewalls, VPNs, Operations, Administration, and Network Engineering desired. Strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills desired. Customer focus and positive, can-do approach is critical required. Must have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
