Rockstar is recruiting for a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company that is transforming enterprise accounting through powerful integrations, intuitive design, and AI-driven automation. The client’s leadership team includes top engineers and finance professionals from leading technology and finance companies, and they are backed by premier Silicon Valley investors. Their mission is to streamline and automate accounting processes, empowering teams to focus on strategic, high-impact work. The team has successfully launched a fully operational product and onboarded several major customers, with support from top-tier VCs such as Kleiner Perkins and Audacious Ventures. Role Overview A Product Designer is sought who thrives at the intersection of user experience, visual design, and business impact. The goal is to build a magical product that delights users. This role will work closely with founders, engineers, and customers to craft elegant, simple, and AI-native products that redefine the way accounting teams work. Responsibilities - Own and lead the end-to-end product design process—from discovery and ideation to prototyping, user testing, and final delivery. - Translate complex workflows and technical systems into intuitive AI-native user experiences. - Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. - Build the company’s brand and identity across web, social, and all platforms. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to shape product strategy and roadmap. - Build and maintain a consistent design system that enables speed and scalability. - Contribute to product demos and customer-facing materials that highlight a design-first approach. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience designing software products (preferably in B2B SaaS or Consumer SaaS). - Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action. Fast iteration is important. - A portfolio showcasing strong UX/UI design skills, user-centered thinking, and systems design. - Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma or similar. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working closely with engineers to bring designs to life. - Familiarity with data-rich or workflow-heavy products is a strong plus. - Passionate about solving real user problems through thoughtful design. Equal Opportunity Statement The client is an equal opportunity employer. Discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other protected status is not tolerated.
