Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Credit Professional
to join our
Private Markets
investment team. This role plays an important part in evaluating new investment opportunities and monitoring the ongoing performance of existing holdings. The
Senior Credit Analyst
will collaborate closely with sector specialists, contribute to strategy development, and provide insights that shape portfolio decisions. The position reports directly to the Head of Private Placements.

Perform in-depth fundamental credit analysis on primarily investment-grade issuers, with some exposure to
high-yield
opportunities. Produce clear, well-structured written reports and present investment recommendations during underwriting, factoring in exposure levels, maturities, and relative value considerations. Review and interpret transaction documentation; coordinate with legal teams to assess covenant protections and overall deal structure. Monitor current portfolio holdings by tracking financial performance, news flow, rating agency actions, and industry developments; provide timely updates and recommendations. Evaluate and respond to amendment or waiver requests with thoughtful analysis. Share sector knowledge and credit insights with colleagues across the Private Markets and broader Investments team. Engage with external parties including rating agencies, research analysts, and other market participants to gather perspectives on issuers and industries. Ensure compliance with internal controls and respond appropriately to audit requests. Build and maintain strong relationships with market intermediaries and issuer management teams. Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives and process enhancement efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. 7–10 years of experience in corporate credit research, lending, or related field. Proven ability to analyze corporate financial statements and assess creditworthiness. Familiarity with deal structures, documentation, and the role of covenants in underwriting. Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and influence investment decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Bloomberg. Solid judgment and decision-making ability, with minimal need for oversight. Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to team and leadership discussions. Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in real estate, REITs, or diversified funds.
