The ideal candidate will be a servant-leader who drives Agile maturity, ensures alignment across stakeholders, and supports continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.**Core Responsibilities****Team Coaching & Guidance*** Coach development teams on Agile principles and best practices.* Promote self-organization, cross-functionality, and a culture of continuous improvement.**Ceremony Facilitation*** Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.* Ensure ceremonies are engaging, time-boxed, and productive.**Impediment Removal*** Proactively identify and eliminate blockers to team progress.* Act as a servant-leader to support team productivity and morale.**Backlog Management*** Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed product backlog.* Ensure backlog items are ready for development and aligned with business goals.**Stakeholder Collaboration*** Facilitate transparent communication between development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.* Align teams and stakeholders on project goals, progress, and changes.**Agile Adherence*** Ensure teams follow Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices.* Foster an environment responsive to changing requirements and business needs.**Risk & Compliance*** Manage risks and issues proactively.* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, especially within the insurance domain.**Key Skills & Tools****Agile Expertise*** Deep understanding of Scrum theory, roles, and practices.* Familiarity with other Agile methodologies like Kanban, XP, or SAFe.**Leadership & Communication*** Strong leadership, mentoring, and facilitation skills.* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.**Problem-Solving*** Skilled in identifying root causes and guiding teams to effective solutions.* Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team.**Agile Tools*** Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools.**Industry Focus: Insurance****Domain Knowledge*** Understanding of software development life cycles within the insurance industry.* Ability to align technical delivery with business and customer needs.**Regulatory Awareness*** Familiarity with insurance-specific regulations and compliance standards.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with OutSystems or other low-code/no-code platforms is a strong plus.* Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist) are desirable.Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ 100000- $105000 /yearly.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
