Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable applications using

Python ,

Java ,

C++ , or

TypeScript , driving innovation across mission systems

Build and deploy

microservices

and

RESTful APIs

using

Docker ,

Kubernetes ,

ECS , or

EKS

to deliver secure, reliable solutions

Implement automation and integration within

AWS

or

Azure

environments leveraging modern

CI/CD

frameworks

Contribute to

infrastructure-as-code

solutions with

Terraform ,

Ansible , or

CloudFormation

for streamlined deployment and configuration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, scalability, and security of distributed systems

Support

data-driven and AI-enabled applications , integrating with APIs, pipelines, and analytics frameworks

Participate in system architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and documentation to ensure long-term maintainability

Qualifications

3–7 years of professional software development experience

Proficiency in one or more core languages:

Python ,

Java ,

C++ ,

JavaScript/TypeScript

Hands-on experience with

AWS

or

Azure

cloud services and modern DevOps practices

Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker ,

Kubernetes ,

ECS/EKS )

Familiarity with

CI/CD

pipelines,

Git , and agile development methodologies

Experience designing and integrating

RESTful APIs

in distributed environments

Preferred Skills

Exposure to

AI/ML integration , model deployment, or data-intensive systems

Experience with streaming technologies like

Kafka

or

Kinesis

Understanding of security, compliance, and cloud governance in federal environments

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline

Compensation and Benefits

$170,000 - $260,000+*

(Dependent on experience)
