# **Scheduled Hours**40# **Position Summary**There is a research opportunity in the laboratory of David H. Gutmann, MD, PhD, director of the WashU Neurofibromatosis Center.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join a vibrant research team focused on understanding why children develop brain tumors. Our laboratory uses a combination of novel genetically engineered mice and human induced pluripotent stem cells to determine the reasons underlying pediatric brain tumor formation and progression, identify risk factors for brain tumor formation, and discover new therapies for these common childhood cancers.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**For more information on the Gutmann lab please visit .For more information on the WashU University Neurofibromatosis Center please visit .**Working Conditions:**This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards.
