The Project Director is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and coordination of all aspects of the program. This position develops, interprets, and administers policies and procedures governing the project, and administers appropriate strategies for recruitment, selection, and retention of faculty. This management-level role oversees the delivery of services, ensures contract compliance with Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) policies, procedures, and fiscal regulations pertaining to the Adult Reentry and Warm Hand Off Project (ARG/WHO). The Project Director acts as the operations manager for the overall project faculty and is the primary point of contact for BSCC and External Evaluation staff. What You Will Do

Ensure compliance with the contract and BSCC policy expectations of contract employees. Oversee the implementation and timely reporting for all data collection systems. Ensure timely responses to BSCC requests for statistics, reports, and data. Develop quality control procedures to ensure high-quality service. Ensure the provision of client-centered services that are aligned with contract objectives. Supervise and oversee all contract staff to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards and contractual obligations. Possess strong working knowledge of programmatic processes, including evaluation design and data collection. Monitor the casework of project staff. Address the operational needs associated with the ARG/WHO project. Provide in-service training and on-the-job training for new staff, as needed. Implement appropriate strategies for recruitment, selection, training, and retention of staff. Be responsible for fiscal monitoring of expenditures. Ensure contract staff compliance with BSCC policies and procedures; and Work collaboratively with BSCC, Evaluation team, and Community Partners. May serve as Community Advocate in addition to the job as requested by Community Leadership. Performs other related duties as assigned. What You Will Bring

Highly competent in organizational leadership and contract compliance. Ability to integrate, disseminate, and implement requirements, reporting timeframes, and/or procedure changes as indicated by BSCC. Ability to effectively supervise and train a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal, written communications, and typing skills. Education and Experience

Required:

Five (5) years of supervisory experience within a criminal justice-involved populations project;

OR Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, sociology, criminal justice or other related field AND three (3) years of documented experience of operational responsibility in a reentry project and setting. Preferred:

Lived Experience (formerly incarcerated or justice involved) with demonstrated ability to live productive and law-abiding lives considered an asset for this position. What We Bring
