Principal DevOps Engineer
to help establish and scale a high-performing DevOps culture. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll architect, implement, and optimize continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) solutions, enabling fully automated build and deployment pipelines for both on-prem and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to guide best practices in automation, cloud infrastructure, and process efficiency while mentoring others and influencing enterprise DevOps strategy. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with built-in quality, security, and automation. Lead cross-functional collaboration to enhance DevOps maturity across engineering and operations. Automate and streamline build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate delivery cycles. Partner with development teams to embed DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. Manage source control, build orchestration, and release management tools across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure and application deployments. Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve delivery and operational efficiency. Document DevOps standards, workflows, and procedures for consistent adoption across teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. Strong experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab) and build tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Bicep) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and scripting (Python, Bash, or Ruby). Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Elastic, Splunk, CloudWatch). Knowledge of agile practices, story management, and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence). Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset. Why You’ll Love It Here
You’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing systems, automating processes, and driving innovation across engineering teams. This position offers an opportunity to influence strategy, mentor others, and deliver solutions that make a real impact — all within a supportive, forward-thinking environment that rewards initiative and creativity.
