The General Manager oversees the standardization and optimization of the assigned location’s daily operating performance through developed processes and procedures. Responsibilities
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the location, ensuring that the site is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. The General Manager is the driving force behind a motivated team, working in a fast-paced environment to help shape the image of the Brand that will impact the business, its employees, and our communities. Create and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment. Attract, recruit, train, and develop all attendants, key holders, and the assistant general manager. Train to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment. Manage chemical inventory, scheduling, labor costs, and equipment functionality. Perform required administrative duties including disciplinary action, terminations, scheduling, employee relations, and life cycle recruiting. Continuously seek ways to improve the business. Take full ownership of the site’s Profit & Loss (P&L) performance. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures. Ensure that safety and security are emphasized, practiced, and periodically reviewed, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals. Lead the team with a strong sales mindset, driving performance and customer satisfaction. Participates in the hiring and training of hourly team members. Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of hourly team members. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Perform other related duties as assigned. Take responsibility for site safety and compliance with company procedures. Qualifications
High School diploma 5+ years of experience in a Car Wash Leadership role Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage Strong interpersonal skills A willingness to learn and grow Strong business acumen Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Position Requirements
Organize and oversee the work and schedules of hourly team members Be trained to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment Take ownership of the site’s Profit & Loss performance Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures Ensure safety and security are emphasized and trained Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve goals Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Be on your feet for extended periods of time Physically able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach Ability to carry, lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds Aware of surroundings and move safely around moving vehicles and equipment Safely climb and maneuver a 12 ft ladder Respond quickly to sounds Move safely over uneven terrain and in confined spaces See clearly and respond to dangerous situations Be mobile and engaged with all team members and customers at pay station, tunnel entrance, and vacuum lot Seniority level
