This is a hybrid position based in Mahwah, NJ.As the **Senior Engineer**, you’ll play a key role in developing advanced components and systems for joint replacement solutions.Learn more about the Joint Replacement Hip Unit:**What You Will Do*** Research, design, and verify components/modules for medical devices with minimal supervision* Translate design inputs into engineering specifications and sub-system level designs* Prototype and analyze solutions to validate concepts* Apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges* Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams* Create and refine engineering documentation, including Design History Files* Ensure compliance with design controls and risk management per our Quality Management System* Support project success through ownership, prioritization, and effective communication**What You Need****Required*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred)* Minimum 2 years of engineering experience**Preferred*** Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices* Proficiency in creating engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools* Experience applying materials and manufacturing knowledge to product design* Ability to clearly communicate technical plans and concepts to cross-functional teams$92,600.00 - $148,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.
