Director of Labor Relations
— a strategic, collaborative leader who will guide the organization’s labor relations strategy, foster positive union partnerships, and ensure fair and effective administration of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). This role is central to our mission of creating a workplace where employees are valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. What You’ll Do
Lead negotiations and serve as the Agency’s chief representative in collective bargaining. Build and sustain strong relationships with labor unions and employee groups. Advise leadership on all labor relations matters, ensuring compliance and consistency. Coordinate with department leadership to develop arbitration strategy, conduct investigations, and ensure contract compliance and proper administration. Partner with leaders to align labor strategies with organizational goals. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource on complex employee relations issues. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required ;
Master’s or JD preferred . 10+ years of experience
in labor relations within multi-union, multi-contract environments. 5+ years of leadership experience , guiding teams and driving results. Expertise in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employment law. Proven ability to foster trust, collaboration, and mutual respect across all levels of an organization.
