Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler
Job Description
This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. It plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
$25 - $27
7:30am to 4pm
Material Handling in the manufacturing facility
Responsibilities
Support all activities related to inbound shipments, including unloading deliveries from trailers to the dock using a hand truck and/or forklift, handling heavy equipment unloads, segregating inbound material into direct and indirect categories, and staging material within the facility in support of all external teams.
Assist the Production Control team with material moves in support of quality inspection, put-away actions, and material issues in support of all production teams.
Provide assistance to employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments processed through the appropriate Shipment Request form.
Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in forklift operation.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
Material handling and inventory control skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting warehouse and production functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or other related industries.
Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and Microsoft Word systems.
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root cause issues, and recommend solutions.
Capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 50 pounds.
Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
