Overview
We are seeking a
Principal Financial Analyst
with strong experience in a SaaS environment. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Sales and Marketing teams, delivering insights and analysis that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. What You'll Do
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead end-to-end financial planning processes for Sales and Marketing functions, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning. Develop and maintain models to evaluate CAC, CLTV, payback periods, marketing ROI, pipeline conversion rates, and ARR growth. Provide scenario modeling to support strategic decisions around pricing, territory planning, and campaign investments. Sales & Marketing Support:
Partner with CRO, CMO, and GTM leaders to assess performance and resource allocation across inbound, outbound, partner, and product-led growth (PLG) channels. Support sales compensation planning, quota setting, and performance tracking. Analyze and optimize marketing spending across digital, events, content, and ABM campaigns. Data Analysis & Reporting:
Build and deliver executive-level dashboards and presentations to communicate key KPIs (e.g., pipeline coverage, sales velocity, churn, CAC:LTV, NRR). Monitor campaign performance, channel attribution, and funnel metrics in collaboration with RevOps and Marketing Ops. Leverage tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Looker, Tableau, Snowflake, or other BI platforms. Strategic Initiatives & Ad Hoc Projects:
Support strategic projects such as GTM expansion, product monetization, pricing changes, and partner/channel development. Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis for customer acquisition strategies. What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus). 7+ years of FP&A experience, with at least 2+ years supporting SaaS or Fintech Sales/Marketing functions. Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics:
ARR, MRR, CAC, CLTV, churn, NRR, and pipeline metrics. Expertise in financial modeling and Excel; experience with tools like
Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Planful. Proficiency in CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo). Commutable to Holmdel, NJ headquarters. Salary
