Fund Accountant Our client, a growing venture capital firm, is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing and dynamic finance team. Location
San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations on Monday and Tuesday, with potential to increase. Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership—including the VP of Finance, CFO, and firm founders—while gaining hands-on experience in fund accounting and venture capital operations. Responsibilities
Liaise with service providers (fund administrator, audit and tax teams, etc.) Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits, tax returns, and compliance filings Maintain accurate accounting records for main funds and SPVs Monitor portfolio company valuation adjustments and perform periodic valuations Support documentation and ad hoc investment/accounting projects Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting 1–2+ years of professional experience Strong interest in Accounting and Finance with a strong preference for asset management experience Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Compensation
