This software engineering position is part of the Customer Engineering team supporting BSP development on Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and Android/Linux/QNX OS for Japanese mobile and automotive customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Japanese customers as follows: Answer technical queries and maintain documents Catch up and understand customer requirements Integrate, customize and optimize BSP Analyze and debug BSP bugs The scope of work includes customer Q&A, learning new technologies, troubleshooting, collaboration with development teams, on-site support, design proposals, and technical training delivery We are looking for a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about cutting-edge technologies Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Proficient in C/C++ programming and understanding of assembly language 5+ years of experience in embedded system development Hands-on experience with Linux kernel customization and optimization Familiarity with debugging tools such as ADB, GDB, JTAG, etc. Business-level Japanese and business-level English Strong communication skills for customer interaction and cross-team collaboration Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Android/Linux BSP development Experience with Hypervisor setup and debugging (e.g., KVM, Xen, QNX Hypervisor) Experience in driver development (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, USB) Familiar with complex SOC HW & Software Design Knowledge of multi-core scheduling and memory management Proven ability in performance tuning and stability analysis Familiarity with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers Ability to conduct technical discussions in English EEO and Application Information
