Position Overview: CuraScript SD is a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Express Scripts, Inc. – a Cigna Company.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Databricks SME with experience in SAP to join our technology team. The SME serves as a key facilitator and collaborator focusing on understanding integrated Enterprise Analytics. In this role, the SME facilitates the design and development of data architecture that integrates SAP systems with Enterprise Databricks ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs. Working closely within and with other cross-functional teams, and Enterprise teams, the SME oversees coordination and implementation of analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Design a scalable and secure data architecture that integrates SAP systems (S/4, BDC, HANA Cloud) with Enterprise Databricks

Design and development of data pipelines for ingesting large volumes of data from SAP S/4 to BDC and to enterprise Databricks leveraging BDC capabilities

Model different business domains like OTC, P2P etc for CSD data within Databricks without duplication of data in multiple systems

Follow data governance practices in place for data quality, data lineage, security, masking etc using Unity catalog

Work closely with enterprise and CSD data architects to convert business requirements into technical requirements

Monitor and optimize performance of SAP systems and data processing for large loads

Design the system to support analytics and BI based on reporting strategy

Develop strategies for data acquisition, migration and recovery

Overall Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience

10+ years of hands-on experience in Datasphere, SAP S/4, SAP BW/Native HANA/HANA Cloud/Databricks and Cloud Technologies

Strong functional knowledge especially in Sales, finance and supply chain planning areas

Ability to identify and resolve performance issues related to storage, memory and retrieval

Strong Data management skills and experience

Strong Data modelling skills with knowledge on SQL development

Knowledge on implementing and managing database systems, data warehouses

Knowledge on design of data pipelines

Knowledge of Datasphere, SAP S/4, CDS views, SDI/SDA/SLT/BODS, SAP CPI, Cloud connector, API, HANA Cloud/HANA Modeling, programming languages like Python, SQL, strong RDBMS, modelling skills, Databricks

Knowledge of SAC, BOBJ or any data analytics and reporting tools

Experience with agile delivery methodologies

Experience/understanding with ERP implementation processes (i.e. planning, blueprinting, go-live, hypercare)

Demonstrated strong organizational skills with strong PC literacy with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Must be highly customer focused with a demonstrated commitment to customer care and building long-term relationships

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Additional Qualifications

Certification on Datasphere

Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA preferred

Knowledge of Sales and Distribution, supply chain management preferred

Experience in wholesale pharmaceutical distribution or life sciences preferred

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 135,600 - 226,000 USD per year, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
