We offer generous compensation packages that recognize hard work and excellence Job Description: We are seeking a Bankruptcy Litigation Associate to represent debtors, official and ad hoc creditors’ committees, lenders, asset purchasers, and other key parties constituents in litigation arising from complex chapter 11 and other restructuring situations, including cross-border matters. Job Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring litigation, including handling contested matters and adversary proceedings in chapter 11 cases Must be admitted to the New York Bar Strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and Federal Rules of Evidence As an Associate, you will: Present and argue contested matters in court Participate meaningfully in client communications Draft a wide range of pleadings, including complaints, answers and dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, and discovery requests and responses Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including e-discovery, witness interviews, and depositions Conduct claims reconciliation and objection processes Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations Participate in all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom advocacy As part of our ongoing commitment to be
