We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for our Critical Care Division to function within the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). With demonstrated expertise in pediatric inpatient care, the Pediatric Hospitalist will function in hospitalist role as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric cardiac intensive care patients within a family-centered care environment. Responsibilities

The Pediatric Hospitalist will evaluate, diagnose and treat cardiac medical patients as well as pre- and post-operative/catheterization cardiac patients. Central to the role, the Pediatric Hospitalist will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the CVICU. The Pediatric Hospitalist functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary cardiac team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families. Qualifications

California medical license and board eligible/board certified in General Pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics. Although not mandatory, the ideal candidate will be board eligible/board certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine with the American Board of Pediatrics. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills. About CHOC and Recognition
