Concord Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery – Laconia is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding team. This role focuses on joint replacement surgery, addressing a significant community need while contributing to the growth of a thriving orthopedic practice supported by an award-winning hospital system. Opportunity

As a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon, you will deliver exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, specializing in adult reconstruction and joint replacement procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes. Benefit from a robust referral network of 141 primary care providers across the Concord Hospital Medical Group. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape and expand an orthopedic practice in a vibrant community, with full backing from Concord Hospital’s resources and expertise. Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine. Completion of residency training in Orthopedic Surgery. Board eligible or certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Fellowship training in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery (preferred). Eligibility for medical licensure in New Hampshire. Strong diagnostic and surgical skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role is classified as LIGHT under the Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification. Duties involve regularly lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling less than 10 pounds; frequently up to 10 pounds; and occasionally up to 20 pounds. The position requires frequent walking, sitting, repetitive motions, and fine motor skills, with occasional bending, climbing, reaching, driving, smelling, squatting, and standing. Vision requirements include color vision, depth perception, far and near vision, and peripheral vision. Exposure may include airborne and bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, airborne contaminants, radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, non-weather-related heat or cold, variable weather, moving mechanical parts, and slippery surfaces.
