Position summary The Substance Use Disorder Program Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population. The SUD Programs Director oversees all SUD programs at the facility.
Responsibilities
Oversee a multidisciplinary team to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population.
Oversee all SUD programs at the facility.
Minimum requirements
Must have a Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, or other similar degree that leads to a clinical license.
Must hold a Delaware clinical license - i.e., LCSW, LPC, LCDP or equivalent.
Certification in chemical dependency (i.e., CADC, CAADC) or certified co-occurring disorder professional (CCDP).
Must demonstrate a minimum of five years’ experience leading a substance use disorder treatment program with administrative duties and direct responsibility for oversight of the program.
Preference for at least two years’ experience working in a Therapeutic Community (TC) environment.
Must receive a satisfactory background investigation.
Essential functions
Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
Provide the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
Excellent and timely documentation skills required.
