to join our expanding team for part-time positions every other weekend! Position Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your role is vital in promoting dignity, independence, and the overall wellbeing of our residents. You will assist residents in their daily activities, provide medication reminders, and engage in their social and spiritual pursuits, ensuring their personal care and cognitive wellness. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders per care plans and community guidelines. Support residents in lifting, transferring, and repositioning for comfort and safety. Contribute to dining services by assisting at mealtimes, including meal preparation, cleanup, and documenting food intake. Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes to nursing staff for timely action. Ensure residents receive nutritional supplements and document their intake according to community policies. Engage in life enrichment initiatives, providing residents with enjoyable and meaningful activities. Record resident care accurately and promptly to maintain effective communication and care continuity. Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, adapting to the needs of the community. Adhere to all policies and regulations, contributing to a safe and supportive environment. Position Requirements Education:
High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Nursing Certification may be required based on state laws Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of paid or volunteer experience with seniors is preferred Skills & Abilities: Exhibit patience and compassion in interactions with elderly individuals.
