Chief Perfusionist opportunity in Reston, VA. Full-Time Certified Chief Perfusionist needed in Reston, VA with a $10k sign-on bonus. Join SpecialtyCare, the leading provider of perfusionist services in the U.S., and be part of a team that supports 1 surgeon at 1 hospital in Reston with potential assignments to other accounts in the metro DC area. The adult-only caseload averages around 150 cases and starts with mostly low risk valves and CABGs. The caseload is shared with one other perfusionist. Non-cardiac cell saver cases are covered by local ATS technicians. This is a startup program designed to foster collaboration, professional growth, and a strong work/life balance. Support 1 surgeon at 1 hospital in Reston, VA and additional accounts in the metro DC area as needed. Manage an adult-only perfusion caseload averaging ~150 cases, starting with mostly low-risk valve and CABG procedures; caseload shared with one other perfusionist. Coordinate non-cardiac cell saver cases with local ATS technicians. Participate in a collaborative startup program that emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, and work/life balance. Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Perfusion Training Program. Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or otherwise meet company requirements as a perfusionist. Ability to work on call; must live within 30 minutes of the hospital. Strong clinical quality focus and the ability to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Excellent communication and basic computer skills; proven ability to work independently and as part of the OR team. Benefits
