Advisor360° is hiring a Software Automation Engineer III to build and test shared services and tools, drive operational excellence, and automate systems in our hybrid-cloud environment. This role requires balancing tactical automation solutions with strategic implementation, from developing scripts to resolve customer-impacting issues to creating sustainable automation frameworks for long-term initiatives. What You’ll Do

Key team member that leads QA aspects of software engineering initiatives. Interpret requirements documentation to create comprehensive test plans. Design, develop automated tests in collaboration with engineers to ensure software quality and efficiency. Implement tests using automation tools. Assist in manual testing where applicable. Ensure adequate test coverage within product areas. Perform investigative and negative testing to find application limits. Develop solid understanding of team''s domain area and assist with requirement refinement. Work within software engineering teams to ensure product quality. Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution activities. Follow software development lifecycle procedures. Document discrepancies using defect tracking tools. Engage in software release activities. Create and maintain regression test suites. Debug issues from failed daily automation executions. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Actively participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints. What You Bring to the Table

5+ years of software quality assurance experience. Analytical approach to troubleshooting. Strong programming experience in Python and Selenium. Familiarity with AI tools for improving test cases such as Copilot and Augment. Experience in building automation tools and frameworks. Understanding of code architecture best practices such as reusability, maintainability, scalability, and abstraction. Experience and understanding of source control (BitBucket/GitHub). Experience working with REST APIs and usage of tools like Swagger and Postman. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Experience with Snowflake is a plus. Experience in the financial industry is a plus. In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Superb organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent oral and written communication across disciplines and teams. Why You’ll Love Working With Us
