Your Mission
As a Full Stack Engineer at Patrol, you will be joining a small engineering team of fewer than 5 people and reporting directly to Patrol AI’s CTO. The primary responsibility of the role will be development work on Patrol’s Shopify app, including building out robustness of our agentic AI architecture, customer facing UI/UX and continuing our Shopify integration. This role is perfect for any individual who wishes to found a startup in the future and wants to experience early product development, scaling from 1 to 2, including having an impact on product direction.
This is a hybrid position and you will be expected to be in-person at the Boston office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new features for our Shopify app, including UI/UX improvements and overhauls.
- Refine our agentic architecture for writing accessible code, including strategies to ensure correctness and reliability.
- Work on the forefront of automated screen testing.
- Define and design solutions for accessibility barriers that have not been automatable in the past.
- Occasionally meet our customers and hear direct feedback on the platform.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, or proficiency in JavaScript alongside familiarity with strongly typed languages.
- Experience with React, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with LLM API integration and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of accessible web design practices.
- Development experience within the Shopify App ecosystem.
- Familiarity with multi-agent LLM architecture.
