Job Description
We're looking for a Pharmacy Services Specialist to be the front-line voice of our customer experience. In this role, you'll work directly with pharmacies and specialty practices to support their on-boarding and day-to-day interactions with our services. Your ability to communicate clearly, think on your feet, and problem-solve will help shape the way customers experience our company.
This position is fully onsite in our Strip District office and is ideal for someone who's organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional service in the healthcare space.
- Location: Onsite - Strip District, Pittsburgh, PA
- Pay: $22/hour
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Shifts Available: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (standard 8-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for customer issues and resolve challenging cases
- Review reports and complete necessary follow-up actions
- Escalate complex issues to internal support teams as needed
- Flag training or education opportunities to leadership
- Monitor Program Support queues and maintain service levels
- Work across multiple applications and systems to deliver fast, accurate service
- Perform other duties as assigned based on team needs
What You Bring
Education & Experience -
- 1+ year of work experience, ideally in a healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or customer support setting
- Bachelor's degree in business, pharmacy, healthcare, or a related field preferred (not required)
- Experience meeting quality standards and providing high-level customer support
Skills & Knowledge -
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple platforms
- Comfortable working independently and following detailed processes
Nice to Have -
- Experience in healthcare, call centers, or specialty pharmacy support
- Familiarity with pharmacy workflows, PBMs, or insurance systems
