Medical Director
to lead its innovative Infection Prevention & Epidemiology team in
northeast Indiana
. Specifics of Your Role as a Medical Director Full time position with flexibility on the balance of administrative and clinical time Serves as the senior medical administrative leader of a multi-hospital system in collaboration with an operational dyad partner and under the direction of the Chief Quality & Safety Officer Ideal candidate is data driven, innovative and entrepreneurial Leads the clinical vision, implementation of patient-centered goals, projects and initiatives along the continuum of patient care, including HOPD, ambulatory, Parkview Physician Groups, Home Health and long-term care oversight. Responsibilities include: oversight of data collection and analytics, research initiatives, GME education, oversight of departmental support for magnet research projects, departmental project management collaborating with physicians, nursing and leadership. Actively engages in the Antimicrobial Stewardship program in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Facilitates research by serving as a principal investigator and providing oversight of other physicians that may participate in the clinical trials program that involve infectious diseases and therapeutics for infectious diseases.
