LHH is working with a large, busy company to identify a temporary Accounting Specialist for their team. Your main tasks will be auditing invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree. The role does entail a lot of detailed work so this candidate must be detail oriented and be comfortable working with large data sets. The team will provide training, and there will be an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after you are comfortable with the tasks. This position is located in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities: Auditing invoices and reconciling to the contract terms
Processing payments and posting to the correct accounts
Updating and reconciling vendor accounts
Month end close tasks and posting journal entries
Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
At least two years of accounting experience
High attention to detail
Professional communication skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables)
Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
