Key Human Services, Inc. is seeking a full time Program Director to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. Responsibilities Include: Create a healthy, engaging, typical home for people with intellectual disabilities Supervise all aspects of program operations including the physical site, staff, and individuals supported Ensure health, safety, and welfare needs are met through fire drills, medication checks, staff training, cleanliness of home, doctor appointments, etc. Assist with development and implementation of Individual Support Plans to meet the needs of individuals supported Support individuals to become independent, make decisions, and live a meaningful dignified life with valued social roles (ex: friend, neighbor, student, employee) Manage and mentor program staff including scheduling, timesheets, performance evaluations, and training Ensure high quality services are provided and consistent with all licensing, federal, state, and local regulations Provide administrative support and direct care support weekly to include on-call responsibilities Position Details: $26.00 per hour Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more Generous paid time off program Extensive training and learning opportunities Career development and advancement Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Five years of work experience in human services or related field; Will consider higher education in lieu of experience One year of supervisory experience Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Valid Connecticut driver’s license with a three year clean driving history Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks Keystone Human Services prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities and prohibits discrimination against all individuals based on any category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
