Coaching Salary Schedule The Moses Lake School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Columbia Middle School Head Football Coach. Moses Lake Middle Schools participate in the North Central Washington Middle School League (NCW). The district is committed to teaching and developing useful, life-long skills in student-athletes. QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated ability to effectively carry out the duties of the position and comply with policies set by the Middle School Principal, Athletic Director, and district. Knowledge of the sport, technical skills, and successful experience teaching these skills to secondary school student-athletes. Valid First Aid and CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain prior to season start. Ability to meet WIAA age requirements. Organizational skills to ensure a well-managed program. Bilingual skills preferred. High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Work within the district's athletic philosophy. Knowledge of current trends, techniques, rules, and strategies. Organize, supervise, and evaluate practice sessions. Implement safety and emergency medical plans. Communicate effectively with parents and staff. Demonstrate sportsmanship and motivate players. Inform players of camps and programs. Maintain discipline and adhere to rules and policies. Manage team logistics, including scheduling and transportation. Attend staff meetings and participate in scouting and planning. Ensure facility safety and cleanliness.
