Summary:

Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, private party operations, and workplace employee activities. Responsible for achieving financial targets outlined in the annual budget by motivating, leading, and supervising a team of highly engaged employees.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple situations at once Directs and controls daily operations to ensure the school runs per GSS standard operating procedures. Communicates and implements company policies and procedures to employees of GSS Manages the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction. Responsible for training, recruitment, and hiring of high-caliber staff Leadership/Motivation

Serve as a role model for employees Hold weekly meetings with the management team to communicate effectively Oversee, support, and develop a staff of 30-60 employees Initiate and oversee workplace employee activities (“Fun” Department) to improve employee satisfaction. Sales and Revenue Management

Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team Achieve sales and enrollment targets Achieve revenue goals by leading an engaged team Ensure front desk staff is knowledgeable about swim lessons Financial

Understand budgets and income statements Control expenses and purchasing Keep expenses at or below budget Articulate variances in revenue, sales, and expenses Manage retail and vending departments for proper product mix and pricing Schedule staff and manage payroll Safety

Oversee implementation of Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures Maintain current certifications and stay professionally updated Gain knowledge in pool operations for safety and sanitation Operations

Train and oversee staff to maintain SOPs Support personnel issues following company procedures Interact with Deck Supervisors on scheduling, student progress, and performance Learn scheduling software for administrative functions Customer Service

Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere Focus on improving Net Promoter Score (NPS) Measurement Standards

Manage financial goals Focus on membership retention Complete tasks and projects timely Follow policies and procedures Education/Experience:
