Hammond Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a full-time Attorney to join our Tyler, Texas office. This position involves a mix of litigation and transactional work in the areas of business law, real estate, estate planning, and probate.
*Responsibilities:*
* Handle civil litigation matters from start to finish, including discovery, hearings, and trial preparation * Draft and review contracts, real estate documents, wills, trusts, and business formation documents * Manage transactional matters including entity structuring, closings, and related client documentation * Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and client communications * Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel * Manage case deadlines and maintain organized case files
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active Texas law license * 18 years of relevant experience preferred, but recent grads with strong internships or clerkships will be considered * Strong writing, research, and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a small team * Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
