About the Role

Seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting mission-critical systems development and deployment. The ideal candidate is an experienced, proactive self-starter with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, DevSecOps pipelines, and container orchestration. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud architectures and contribute to secure, scalable microservices deployment in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code for microservices deployment. Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers in a Linux-based multi-tenant environment. Support developer deployments and testing activities within the cloud environment. Provide technical guidance and documentation for all capabilities and microservices. Conduct security remediation based on scan results and maintain DevOps documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and sustainment of systems. Review code within Git repositories and extract or create engineering documentation as needed. Perform other assigned tasks related to cloud infrastructure and DevOps support. Required Skills

Job Requirements

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles. Proven expertise with AWS services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway. Experience developing and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and scripting. Active Top Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for CI Polygraph post-hire. Strong understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and secure software development practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proactive, positive attitude. Experience with Docker container configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). Ability to collaborate effectively using team tools such as Jira and Confluence.
