What the Inventory Loadout Coordinator Does

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule or direction. Maintain the inventory tracking system accurately to ensure items are stored safely and organized. Optimize warehouse space utilization while prioritizing safety and preventing damage to consigned merchandise. Follow APAA policies for storing special items such as combustibles, firearms, jewelry, precious stones, and metals. Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, hand trucks, carts, or other conveyances as required. Keep the loadout bay, warehouse, and all storage areas clean and free of garbage, debris, snow, and ice. Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Report any inventory discrepancies or damage to consigned merchandise immediately. Ensure all buyers' merchandise marked for "shipping" is transferred to the shipping department. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. The Impact You'll Make

You ensure all merchandise is accurately tracked, protected, and ready for auction or pickup. You help maintain APAA's reputation for professionalism, precision, and care in handling consigned property. You support seamless coordination between the intake, cataloging, and shipping departments. You help create a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment that reflects APAA's high standards. What Success Looks Like

Inventory records are consistently accurate and up to date. Items are stored efficiently, safely, and logically. Communication with team members is proactive and effective. The warehouse and pickup bay remain clean, safe, and well-organized. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to receive, verify, and store consigned inventory efficiently and accurately. Experience in boxing or containerizing inventory by the seller and storing it on designated shelves. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Minimum Qualifications

Preferred: 1 year of related shipping or warehouse operations experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, memoranda, and company policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. Valid Alaska driver's license. Ability to pass a background and reference check. Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs independently and greater weights with assistance. Ability to walk up and down stairs, climb ladders, and perform extended periods of standing, lifting, and carrying. Must be able to perform various physical activities required within the department. Supervisory Role

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Working Conditions & Schedule

The work environment is fast-paced and high-standard, requiring attention to multiple overlapping tasks and consistent attendance. Occasional overtime may be required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (8-hour shift + 1-hour unpaid break)
