Responsibilities
Provide assistance with daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Prepare and serve meals according to Elder preferences; clean up kitchen and dining areas
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home maintenance tasks
Monitor and report changes in health, mood, or behavior to the nursing team
Encourage Elder engagement, independence, and decision-making
Work and communicate effectively as part of the self-managed work team.
Participate in care plan discussions and team meetings
Maintain accurate electronic documentation of care provided
Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
Build meaningful relationships with Elders and team members in a supportive, self-managed work team
Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- active, unrestricted in the State of Texas CPR and Food Handler Certification
(can be obtained after hire) Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physical care tasks Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Excellent communication and observation skills Training Provided
