Responsibilities
Partner with Underwriting and business teams to design reporting solutions that support growth and risk management
Build and maintain ETL pipelines and dashboards using tools like Power BI and SQL
Translate business needs into technical requirements and work with IT to implement them
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and documentation of data lineage
Promote best practices in data visualization, KPI development, and reporting standards
Support data governance and collaborate across teams to improve data quality and usability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
At least 10 years of experience, including 3+ years in the insurance industry
Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics
Expertise in Data Warehousing, integration, and reporting tools like Power BI
Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Data Lake technologies (Databricks is a plus)
Experience with ETL tools such as MS SSIS and Visual Studio
Advanced SQL skills and comfort with structured and unstructured data formats (JSON, XML)
Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into business impact
Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to senior stakeholders
Collaborative mindset and ability to build alignment across teams
Ability to manage multiple projects while staying focused on strategic goals
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $208,250 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to benefits including health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
