What you will do: Lead accounting managers, senior accountants, and staff, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables. Direct financial statement preparation, management reports, and bank reporting. Oversee bank and investor relations, guiding budgeting and forecasting efforts. Manage client engagements, identifying opportunities for value-added services. Set project strategies and scope to achieve exceptional client satisfaction. Mentor staff and champion the firm’s mentorship program to drive team excellence. Apply industry knowledge to promote firm growth and client success. Build strong client relationships, proactively addressing their evolving needs. What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 12+ years of experience, including CPA firm experience. Expertise in wine and/or construction accounting. Active California CPA license required. Advanced accounting and financial reporting knowledge with adherence to firm processes. Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills to guide teams and manage client relationships. Outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in firm tools and technology to optimize processes. Strategic vision to adapt to changing client needs.
