Ultimate Staffing is seeking a
Warehouse Stockroom Clerk
to join a client in Fremont. This is a temporary position scheduled to last approximately 3 months. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Pay rate for the role is $20 - $22/hour.
Summary:
Responsible for accurately transacting, moving, and maintaining raw materials within the Stockroom. Supports production by preparing kits, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of components based on customer and production needs.
Job Duties:
Transact and move raw materials in/out of the Stockroom with accuracy. Maintain inventory records and perform regular cycle counts. Locate and deliver stock to appropriate departments based on production requirements. Prepare components and kits for release according to company/customer specifications. Use process sheets, work instructions, and load lists to verify correct parts and revisions. Pull kits and resolve shortages for work cells and production lines. Fulfill material requests (requisitions, work orders, tools, etc.) and distribute accordingly. Accurately complete and maintain required documentation (e.g., pick sheets, receipts, travelers). Operate component preparation machines and hand tools. Enter inventory transactions in the ERP system. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies; escalate as needed. Assist Receiving and Shipping departments when necessary. Participate in physical inventory counts and related tasks. Support internal audits and cross-functional training for Quality Management Systems. Follow all required training and support 6S/Lean initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. 2 - 3 years of experience in a warehouse or electronics manufacturing environment. Ability to read kit sheets, cycle count sheets & transaction reports. Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instruction processes. Basic computer skills. Good math skills. Ability to lift/carry minimum of 50 lbs., stand, bend, push, lift/carry during an 8 hour shift.
