As a Senior Security Engineer, you will help protect sensitive financial data, client assets, and infrastructure from cyber threats. You will apply security posture management tools and design and implement best security practices across the system — internal and client-facing applications, and cloud infrastructure. You will sit within the core engineering org and collaborate with the CISO, CTO, product, DevOps, and legal/compliance teams. What You Will Do
Application Security
— Monitor and triage security issues; identify and fix vulnerabilities in web/mobile apps; perform code reviews and plan penetration testing; implement secure development practices (DevSecOps); collaborate with developers to secure features. Infrastructure & Cloud Security
— Secure cloud deployments; set up firewalls, proxies, IAM policies, VPCs, and network monitoring dashboards; configure and manage encryption keys and other secrets. Compliance & Risk Management
— Ensure adherence to financial compliance standards (SOC 2, MAS, GDPR, ISO 27001); conduct risk assessments and audits; support documentation and evidence gathering for audits. Security Monitoring & Incident Response
— Monitor systems for suspicious activity; tune SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk or Datadog); lead or support incident response and post-mortem analysis. Data Security & Privacy
— Implement controls for encryption, tokenization, and access control; protect customer financial data (KYC, investment info). Security Awareness & Culture
— Educate the team on phishing, secure coding, and access hygiene; define endpoint security policies; foster a security-first culture. Who You Are
At least 8 years of experience in software or data engineering, preferably in financial services/fintech. At least 8 years in information security, cybersecurity, or cloud security roles. Strong scripting/programming ability (Python, TypeScript, Bash). Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control. Extensive experience with AWS/Azure and preferably GCP; cloud-native technologies. Experience with zero-trust, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault), and DevSecOps. Familiarity with containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio); threat modeling, penetration testing, or IR experience. Experience with application security practices (code scanning, OWASP Top 10). Familiarity with SIEMs, IDS, and endpoint protection; IAM (SSO, MFA, RBAC). Knowledge of regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR) and fintech risk/compliance. Strong communication skills to collaborate across engineering, product, and compliance teams. Ability to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Based in Singapore or willing to relocate. Interview Process
Intro call with the Head of Talent (30 min). Technical Interview 1: Coding/Scripting (60 min). Technical Interview 2: Security System Design (60 min). Technical Interview 3: Domain Knowledge with CISO (NYC) (60 min). CEO Interview with Caesar Sengupta (30 min). What We Offer

Salary is determined by interview performance, skills, experience, and education, within bands updated by market benchmarks and geography.
