Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Truck Driver role located in Cohoes, NY. The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of gas cylinders and bulk gases to customers. Daily tasks include loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to all DOT regulations. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintaining logs of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A license and Truck Driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations
- Experience with loading and unloading trucks
- Excellent driving record and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the gas or transportation industry is a plus
