Solutions Architect / Google Cloud Platform (GCP) focused role to develop a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for applications migration and modernization, including data modernization on Google Cloud. Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for applications and data migration, modernization. Evaluate and select Google Cloud services and third-party tools. Architect tailored GCP solutions for applications migration and modernization that leverage best practices and meet specific business requirements (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Network, Security). Understand client requirements and prepare appropriate cloud solutions for applications migration, modernization, and data modernization on Google Cloud. Conduct technical presentations and workshops to demonstrate solution feasibility and value to stakeholders. Lead the design and implementation of proofs of concept (POCs) to validate proposed solutions and transition them into larger-scale engagements. Guide technical solution development in engagements related to applications modernization, migration, data modernization, solution integration, and infrastructure on GCP. Ensure optimal performance of cloud solutions through monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT security teams to maintain data privacy and compliance. Work with sales, delivery, and business teams to deliver solutions and provide technical guidance on Google Cloud best practices; stay updated on emerging Google Cloud technologies and trends. Qualifications

Mandatory Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years in architecture or 10 years in engineering roles related to hybrid cloud solutions for applications migration, modernization, and data modernization, with a proven track record of successful client engagements. Minimum of 3 years in architecture or 5 years in engineering roles related to GCP solutions for application and data migration, modernization. Experience designing and implementing strategies to migrate and modernize an organization\'s data infrastructure to the cloud, utilizing advanced data technologies to improve accessibility, scalability, and analytics capabilities while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance. Design data architecture on the cloud, including data lakes, data warehouses, data pipelines, and data ingestion mechanisms. Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for applications migration and modernization. Experience architecting applications leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud-native (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Hybrid/Multi-Cloud, Network, Security, Microservices, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles. Additional Qualifications: Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desired Skills: Knowledge of BFSI industry vertical. Technical certifications related to Google Cloud (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Cloud Database Engineer) and other relevant cloud certifications; willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
