A leading investment management firm in Boston, MA is hiring a Staff Accountant to support accounting and reporting processes, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. This role offers exposure to fund operations and investment management company accounting within a high-growth environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with a base salary of $85K. Responsibilities
Record journal entries and assist with the monthly close process Reconcile key balance sheet and P&L accounts Handle intercompany eliminations and foreign currency adjustments Contribute to GAAP financial statement preparation and audit support Assist in financial planning and analysis activities as well as investment reconciliations Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or active CPA track preferred 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred Strong Excel skills; prior experience with QuickBooks, Workday, or similar systems helpful Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively Prior exposure to investment management or management company accounting is preferred How to apply
